Hi, I’m John! I was born and raised in Dunedin, Florida but couldn’t stand the heat and humidity. I’ve lived in Boston, South Bend, and now reside in San Francisco.
I attended the University of Notre Dame and have a ton of school spirit, probably because I was a cheerleader. After graduating with a Masters degree from the ESTEEM program I got a job at Google working for the Wallet risk team.
I’m an avid fan of retro video games and consider my Super Nintendo one of my most prized possessions. Since moving to the Bay I’ve enjoyed learning new skills such as skiing, sailing, and fly fishing. I also enjoy woodworking and tinkering on electronics projects (I’m still working on this one).
After working at Google for almost four years I decided it was time to take a break and experience the world. In the next few months I will be traveling to Asia, taking Rich Oliver’s Mystery Course, visiting home, traveling to Europe, and going on a solo road trip on my motorcycle if time and money permit. I plan to chronicle my adventures through this blog for my family, friends, and anyone else interested.
